"Jeremy & the Generations is the premier party band on the Outer Banks! The band's setlist will keep you and your guests on the dance floor all night long! The group is made up of some of the most professional, talented, and experienced musicians on the Outer Banks – they will not disappoint!"
About Us:
'Jeremy & the Generations' is THE party band on the Outer Banks! As their name eludes, "J&theG's" are a multi-generational band playing hits from all genres and all generations. From oldies like "Stand By Me" to more recent hits like "Uptown Funk", they’ve got a set list of songs to satisfy everyone! Every year the band adds new songs to their list so that they are always staying current and fresh.
With years of experience playing weddings and private events up and down the Outer Banks, you will not find a more fun, professional, hard-working group of musicians for your big day! If you are looking to keep your guests entertained and on the dance floor all night long then J&theG's are the right choice for you!
There are options for five and seven-piece ensembles to suit your specific entertainment needs. The band is comprised of a dynamic group of musicians who all bring something different and unique to the table. The most important thing is that they all have a great time playing together and it shows! The 5-piece group includes a vocalist/guitarist, lead guitar/vocalist, bass player, a female vocalist/percussion, and a drummer. The 7-piece troupe adds a saxophone and a keyboard player/vocalist into the mix.
Here is a break down of the 5-piece crew:
Jeremy Russell plays acoustic guitar and leads the band in vocals. He’s been playing live gigs for over 15 years now and has been running his business “Outer Banks Wedding Entertainment” for the past six years. Tom Vinick, otherwise known as “Dr. Tom”, plays the lead guitar and sings backup vocals. Talk about dynamic; he’s actually a chiropractor and a talented musician! Bobby Soto, our tech whiz and D&D warlock, plays the bass guitar. He shreds and is a long-time fixture on the OBX music scene. He is part of several different popular music projects. James Ulrich (no relation to Lars) puts the percussion behind it all with his crazy drumming skills. He may be the newest member of “the Generations”, but he’s played with many bands on national and regional tours. Leslie Buck brings high-quality vocals, great stage presence, and additional percussion with the tambourine and the shaker. She knows how to keep the crowd having a great time every time!
For the 7-piece group, Chris Sawin joins in on the keyboard and vocals. Chris is an established local keyboard player and he also serves as the executive director of the Outer Banks Relief Foundation. He is a busy man helping to put together events all over the OBX! Dave Kreiselman is on saxophone-he's no stranger to music and performing. He is a Retired Army Bandsman and served as a clarinet instructor at the Armed Forces School of Music (20 years total). Dave brings an amazing sound, invaluable experience, and a magnetic personality!
Whether you're planning an all-out party or an intimate gathering, we'd love the opportunity to help make your day something really special!
